Year 4 Visit The Box in Plymouth
Tamar Class had a fantastic trip to ‘The Box’ in Plymouth on Thursday 18th September as part of their topic titled 'Plymouth'. Dobwalls went with Class Two from Trewidland Primary; a great day meeting up with our friends from Trewidland.
The children handled historical artefacts, worked together as a team of detectives to uncover stories from people who experienced the Blitz and explored the impact of the war on Plymouth. They even got time to see other fascinating exhibits on display around the museum - especially Mildred the Mammoth!
We have also thought about and discussed the range of careers possible if we worked in a museu, like The Box when we are older!
