Year 2 Visit Liskeard

On Monday 27th April, Loveny Class visited Liskeard Museum as part of their history learning.  Their big learning question is: How has Liskeard High Street changed over time?

During their visit, the children explored a range of fascinating exhibits, including historical toys and artefacts linked to the town’s mining heritage. They used their predicting skills to consider which everyday items from today might be displayed in museums in the future.

Afterwards, they took a walk around Liskeard High Street, comparing what they could see today with what they had learnt about the past. The children enjoyed spotting how different buildings and shops have changed over time, bringing the big question to life in a meaningful and engaging way.
