UNICEF Day for change!
We are a Rights Respecting School.
Thank you so much for your support. There was great excitement as the children laid all of the coins. The trail went 3/4 of the way around the daily mile track! The money is being counted and there will be a stall at the Christmas Fair to guess our total! We'll let you know next week.
UNICEF Day for Change brings communities together to celebrate UNICEF’s founding and to raise awareness and essential funds to support children in need across the globe
We are a Rights Respecting School and this day supports our work in helping all children be aware of their rights and supports other children too.
Article 27 – Every child has the right to a standard of living that is good enough to meet their physical, social and mental needs. Governments must help families who cannot afford to provide this.
Article 28 – Every child has the right to an education.
