South-West Water Visit Y4
Year 4 were really excited to welcome Sophie from South West Water to school last week! She delivered a fun and informative session that helped bring our previous learning about water to life.
During her visit, Sophie talked to the children about:
- The Water Cycle – how water travels around our planet.
- Drinking Water – how our water is cleaned and made safe to drink.
- Water Efficiency – ways we can all use water more wisely.
- Wastewater – what happens to water after we use it at home.
- Filtration Demonstration – a fascinating live demonstration showing how filtration works!
The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and asked some brilliant questions. They also remembered lots of their previous learning! It was a fantastic opportunity to deepen their understanding of important environmental issues in a practical and engaging way.
