On Wednesday 7th October, Year 5 set off for an exciting trip to Truro.  After reading the book in class, they were able to watch and enjoy the stage performance of Private Peaceful.  Their engagement in the show was fantastic, we were so proud of them all! The actor was remarkable in this one-man show bringing the story to life with just a few props, lighting and sound.  It was a show we will all remember for a very long time. 

This was followed by a visit to Truro Cathedral. The cathedral did not disappoint either, such an impressive building. They were able to explore and locate the common features of a cathedral.
