We love reading at Dobwalls!

On Monday 22nd June, Ed from Liskeard Library visited our assembly. Ed shared the upcoming summer reading challenge with passion and a love of reading to inspire our whole school. He was also very impressed with our Year 4 children who began the assembly with performing a poem. 

What is the summer reading challenge?

As in the words of Dr Seuss, the more you read, the more places you will go!

Ed is looking forward to seeing everyone visit Liskeard Library over the summer.    To complete the challenge the children need to read 6 books and visit the library to share along the way.  They will receive rewards for reading a long the way! The challenge starts on July 11th and finishes on September 12th. Can we beat our record this year Dobwalls!? Let's use our SECRET skills to 'get involved' with as many as possible joining!
