Lynher Class had the opportunity to meet a real-life Viking, hearing stories of his journey to the United Kingdom, as well as his battles against the Anglo-Saxons. The children reenacted the battle of Stamford Bridge and formed a Viking long ship using shields, helmets, mast and sail, figurehead, axes, and spears. A day full of lots of valuable learning about our topic and some amazing experiences!
