Lerryn Visit Looe and the RNLI Station

On Friday 11th July, Lerryn Class visited Looe for the day!  They caught a train from Liskeard to Looe to visit the RNLI station. They learned how people and animals are rescued from the ocean, looked at the clothing the RNLI wear including a dry suit, waterproofs, boots and a helmet and saw the two lifeboats stationed at Looe.

After, they all enjoyed time on the beach, a lovely picnic lunch and of course an ice cream!  A great time was had by one and all!
